Danarch was established in 2005. Since then we've worked on hundreds of projects across Ireland, from one-off rural homes to commercial fit-outs, cottage renovations to agricultural buildings. More than 300 of those projects have gone through planning successfully.

We're a planning and design consultancy, not a large practice with a reception desk and a waiting room. When you work with Danarch, you work directly with the people doing the work. That's deliberate. It's how you keep quality high and communication honest.

Fixed fees. No percentages. No surprises.

Most architectural and design firms charge a percentage of your project's total value. The bigger your build, the bigger their bill, for the same work. We've never thought that was fair, so we've never done it.

Danarch charges fixed fees, agreed in writing before any work starts, paid at clear stages through the project. You always know exactly what you owe and exactly what you're getting for it. No vague hourly billing. No invoice creeping upward as the build grows.

It's a simple idea. It just happens to be unusual, and it's the thing clients tell us they value most.

With you from the first sketch to the last snag

A Danarch project usually runs through four stages: a free consultation on your site, the design and concept work, the planning application, and then construction and project management. You can take all four or just the ones you need.

The free consultation is where it starts, and it's genuinely free, anywhere in Ireland, with no obligation. We walk your site or your home, we listen to what you want, and we tell you honestly what's possible and what it's likely to cost. Some people hire us after that. Some don't. Either way they leave with a clear picture, which is the point.

We work nationwide. Our offices are in Limerick and Waterford, but the location of an office has never decided which projects we can take. Drawings, planning knowledge and site visits travel.

What we are, and what we're not

Danarch provides planning and design consultancy. We are not RIAI-registered architects. For projects that need certification by a registered architect, we work alongside qualified professionals so you get the design and planning service you want without losing the certification you need.

We'd rather tell you that plainly, up front, than have it be a surprise. Straight talk is the whole idea.
